Helping to raise funds for Dr. Kershaw’s Hospice

In order to manage our commitment and support to worthy causes we have appointed a dedicated Kenyon Group Charity Committee. This committee is responsible for looking after all aspects of charity work, right from dealing with requests for charitable support to organising charity events.
The committee is tasked with objectively assessing all charitable requests presented to us on their individual merits in order to ensure that our support (both in terms of financial backing and dedicated time) of charitable causes remains unbiased and based upon group decision, and that we support worthy causes wherever and whenever possible.
As with all companies, the number of charitable requests can frequently out-number the level of support we can offer. Therefore, unfortunately we do have to select which charities we can support. With the sad loss of Mr Frank Kenyon, founder of the Kenyon Group Ltd, in 2005 at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, we have pledged to support the hospice in any way we can. To this end we have numerous fund-raising activities, both long term appeals and individual events, running concurrently.
Over £71,000 as been donated to the hospice since 2005. Donations like this are vital in helping to meet the hospice’s £1.6million annual running costs. Dr Kershaw’s is an independent hospice, providing specialist care for adults with non-curable, life threatening illnesses, in a peaceful and homely environment.
