What is ProWood D3 wood glue used for?
ProWood D3 is an all-round PVA wood adhesive for joinery, furniture and general wood assembly. It bonds solid timber as well as MDF, plywood and chipboard, and conforms to BS EN 204 Class D3 for water resistance.
How long does ProWood D3 take to dry?
It sets in around 10 minutes and reaches full cure after 8 hours at 20°C. It dries clear, and once cured the bond is stronger than the wood itself.
Can I use ProWood D3 outside?
Yes, where the work is sheltered from direct weather. For joinery that is fully exposed to rain or long periods of damp, use ProWood D4.
What is the difference between ProWood D3 and D4?
Both are water resistant PVA wood glues. D3 suits interior work and sheltered exterior use, which covers most joinery and furniture jobs. D4 has the highest EN 204 water resistance class and is the one to choose for external joinery.
